Toxic relationships can occur with anyone, including friends, family, and partners. Being in such a relationship can be extremely draining and may gradually erode your self-esteem.

It is crucial to recognise the signs of a toxic relationship and discuss them with someone you trust. This can help you safely distance yourself from the individual or seek assistance for the relationship, which might involve counselling. Often, the person exhibiting toxic behaviour may not be aware of it, as it is frequently learned behaviour, and their own insecurities may be projected onto you.

How many of these behaviors do you recognize? It can be alarming to see the reality so clearly!

Remember, you have options.

Whatever decision you make should be the right one for you. It is not beneficial to be gradually worn down by someone or to remain in a one-sided friendship.

Remember, you are valuable, and this situation is not your fault. People will come and go from your life; do not force anyone to stay.

Love & light,

Tina
